IME Motors, Ashok Leyland’s authorized distributor for Nepal, a prominent business in the commercial vehicle industry, and Nabil Bank have entered into a loan agreement.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Hemant Puranik, CEO of IME Motors and Chandani Shrestha, Head of Retail Lending on behalf of the bank.
Customers can avail of this offer by visiting any of the 17 Ashok Leyland showrooms or any branch of Nabil Bank across the country. Following the agreement, a vehicle loan through the bank will be given up to 70% of the principle amount when buying vehicles provided by Ashok Leyland. The entire loan-granting process will be very quick and easy and will be adjusted with the relevant guidelines and instructions of Nepal Rastra Bank.
Ashok Leyland has a strong presence in the Nepalese commercial vehicle market and has been expanding its touch point (Showroom and service) rapidly all over Nepal. In the last two years going aggressively, it can capture a significant market share from its competitors, Ashok Leyland is 2nd largest commercial vehicle brand in Nepal.
Also, recently the company has announced the maximum 5-year warranty in the automobile sector on its popular light commercial vehicle ‘Dost’, aiming to provide a hassle-free ownership experience to its customers.
